The device (20) has an intercooler (22) arranged in a housing (21) such that the charging air is supplied to the intercooler via supply air terminals (23, 24). A supply air chamber (25) is provided by the housing. An exhaust air port (27) is provided in the housing for discharging the cooled charge air. A partition wall is brought into an exhaust air chamber for separately forming the exhaust air port in exhaust sub-chambers. A holder and a fastening element e.g. cable, are formed on the housing. A low-temperature radiator is provided on the housing. An independent claim is also included for a motor car comprising a charged internal combustion engine.
