The sharpener (1) has a sharpener body (2) and a peeler (3), where the peeler has a cutting edge (12,13) that is provided with shafts-, tooth- or saw joint. The peeler is sanded down from only one of the both flat surfaces (20) along the cutting edge. The cutting edge has an externally tangent crest line which forms a straight line. The peeler is made from stainless steel.
