PURPOSE: A method of estimating the generation amount of a wind power generation device is provided to estimate power supplied from a decentralized power supply source. CONSTITUTION: A method of estimating the generation amount of a wind power generation device is as follows. A wind power generation device is operated(S1). Power generation data, wind speed, and wind direction prediction data are stored in the wind power generation device(S3). The generation amount of the wind power generation device is estimated based on the stored power generation data, wind speed, and wind direction prediction data(S7). The actual power generation amount of the wind power generation device is measured and is used as a variable for the estimation of the generation amount.
