PURPOSE: A packaging box and a producing method thereof are provided to offer the improved productivity by offering design elements to the packaging box. CONSTITUTION: A packaging box(1) including a picture frame type box cover(200) for attaching a picture or a painting comprises the following: a box body(100) including a horizontal plate(101) in a polygon shape, and wall plates(110) in the same number of sides of the horizontal plate for forming storage space; the box cover including a cover horizontal plate(201) in a polygon shape, cover wall plates(210) in the same number of sides of the cover horizontal plate, an insertion space for fitting the box body, and an opening on the center of the cover horizontal plate; and an inner supporter(300) detachably attached to the inside of the cover horizontal plate.
