A nozzle of a locomotive sander comprises a housing having a loosening cavity, in which channels for supply of sand and removal of sand-air mixture are made, and an air duct supplying the compressed air to the nozzle connected to a guiding orifice intended for removal of sand-air mixture to exit from the corresponding channel, and with a tube, through which the compressed air is supplied to loosen and lift the upper sand layers, and the tube has an end part made at an angle, which in turn is directed at an angle to the housing wall in the direction of sand so that the compressed air from the end of the tube hits the wall of the chamber along a tangent to it and further to the sand. |
