PURPOSE: A method and system for supplying location aware trace and services of a user through IP multimedia residential gateway are provided to supply location aware trace and services of a user through IP multimedia residential gateway. CONSTITUTION: An IMRG(IP Multimedia Residential Gateway)(112) dynamically configures network interfaces within IMRG through broadband IP networks(120) in order to communicate with wideband IP networks. The IMRG manages or controls system timing about the registered network. A client device(132a) receives services from broadband IP networks through IMRG. An IP based application server(150) supplies IP based services to various broadband IP networks.
