The stator (11) has a central passage provided along an axis (10), and a reel support (12) placed around the passage. A cup (14) seals an end (54) of the passage. The cup is secured to the support in translation along the axis by attachment elements (16). The attachment elements are pins placed on the support or on the cup, and cooperate with recesses on the support or on the cup. A ring comprises branches extending radially outward from the ring. The support is immobilized around the passage by fitting the branches through the support. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an assembly comprising a rotor arranged in a central passage (2) a method for assembling a stator.
