PURPOSE: A method for enhancing entropy coding performance is provided to reduce the size of a memory by efficiently storing a neighboring block data. CONSTITUTION: A CABAC(Context-Adaptive Binary Arithmetic Coder) comprises a binarizer, a context modeler, and a binary arithmetic coder. The context modeler selects the probability model by using syntax element data of a neighbor block. The context modeler offers the selected probability model to the binary arithmetic encoding device. The context modeler is replaced with the deformation syntax element. |
