<p>In order to create an easy indicator (20) for detecting penetration of air and/or dampness into a vacuum, pressure or modified atmosphere packaging, in particular into a vacuum insulation panel (10), wherein the penetrating air and/or dampness causes a change of the physical properties of the indicator (20), it is disclosed that the indicator (20) has a material which reacts chemically with the penetrating air and/or dampness, and that at least one physical property of the indicator (20) can be changed by the chemical reaction. In particular, the material is formed as a barium layer, which has a defined dielectric constant. Furthermore, an associated vacuum, pressure or modified atmosphere packaging, in particular for a vacuum insulation panel (10) with evacuated heat insulating body and shell is disclosed, wherein the shell is metalized in a largely transparent manner, the shell for detecting the changed physical properties in the region of the indicator (20) is, however, transparently masked and covered with an airtight transparent material.</p> |
