The product, in sheet form, comprises a layer of crumb-rubber 22, with a scrim material 24 on at least one side, preferably both sides. A high-grab pressure sensitive material 26 is applied to the exposed surface of the scrim 24. The adhesive 26 is characterised in terms of 90° peel at 300 mm/min. after 24 hrs. = 1.77-3.96 N/25 mm (STP). The production method and adhesiveness test are claimed. The product is intended for temporary, removable installation as an underlay or rug, in a vehicle, or as a pad for placing under furniture. |
