摘要 <p>In order to measure physical properties on a turbocharger core assembly (4), which comprises a center housing (5) and a rotor (6) having a turbine wheel (7), a compressor wheel (8), and a shaft supported in the center housing (5), the turbocharger core assembly (4) is clamped into an imbalance measuring device and connected to a compressor housing (2). The rotor (6) is then accelerated to a substantially normal working speed, and vibrations of the turbocharger core assembly (4) induced by imbalance are measured. At the same time, the air flow at the outlet (23) of the compressor housing (2), which air flow is compressed when the rotor (6) has been accelerated, is guided through a measurement pipe, and pressure pulses in the compressed air flow are measured and evaluated.</p>
