PURPOSE: An actuator for a valve is provided to simplify the inner structure of the actuator because multiple cylinders are not required. CONSTITUTION: An actuator for a valve comprises a thrust increasing unit(30). The thrust increasing unit comprises multiple balls(28). The balls are arranged on a disc plane installed on the top of an output shaft unit(26). A fixed disc plane is formed in the bottom end of a shaft(43) fixed to an actuator body. When a piston(25) is operated, the balls move between the disc plane and the fixed disc plane to increase the thrust of the piston, and the increased thrust is outputted to the output shaft unit.
