<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for enabling a receiver side to judge whether or not to display information contained in an event message or in a module in accordance with a broadcasting area or a broadcasting station which transmits the event message or the module. <P>SOLUTION: An event message or module containing at least transmission source identification information identifying a transmission source is generated and this event message or module is broadcasted. In a receiver, the event message or module is received and the transmission source identification information is acquired from a broadcasting signal of the received event message or module.
