<p>A metal bellows accumulator having a metal bellows that is fixed at one end in a shell and joined at the other end to a bellows cap, thereby partitioning the inside of the shell into an outer gas chamber and an inner liquid chamber. Even if a seal function of a seal section becomes ineffective to cause a pressurized liquid remaining in the liquid chamber to be lost, no breakage of the accumulator by abnormal deformation occurs. To achieve this, the bellows is constructed such that, when the pressure in the liquid chamber (12) is further reduced after the bellows cap (31) is in contact with an oil port (4), a surface contact section (35) is formed on the metal bellows (3) and the curvature radius of a U-shaped section (3A) of a crest (32) on the outer diameter side is reduced. Also, the curvature radius of a U-shaped section (3A) of a root (33) on the inner diameter side is increased.</p> |
