<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus, recording medium and method, capable of effectively preventing the unauthorized use of contents. <P>SOLUTION: Contents including broken data different from right content configuration data are recorded in an information recording medium, and a conversion table in which conversion data as the right content configuration data as the object of replacement of broken data and setting position information with respect to the content of the converted data are recoded is stored in the information recording medium. When performing content playback processing, content configuration data is replaced with the converted data according to the conversion table recorded in the information recording medium. Even when the leakage of an encryption key corresponding to encrypted contents recorded in the information recording medium is generated, the playback of the content can be prevented from being executed in a device which cannot acquire the converted data, and the unauthorized use of the content is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
