Method for diagnostics of liver cirrhosis as consequence of chronic hepatitis C includes bio-chemical investigation of blood with following determination of presence of cirrhosis. In blood serum one determines content of haptoglobin and if at exclusion of other causes that bring up hypohaptoblobinemia its content is 0.53 g/l or less, one diagnoses liver cirrhosis. |
