<p>An apparatus for calculating receive parameters for an MIMO system comprising a plurality of individual transmission sections, a transmission section having a transmit circuit being adjustable by a transmit parameter, and a plurality of individual users, a user having a receive circuit being adjustable by a receive parameter, comprises a calculator (10) for calculating a receive parameter (11) for a first selected data stream for a first user of the plurality of users using a channel information (12) for a transmission channel between the user and a first individual transmit section, to which the user is associated, and for calculating a receive parameter (13) for a second selected data stream for a second user of the plurality of users associated with a second different individual transmission section using a channel information (14) between the first user and the second transmission section, to which the second user is associated with, or using (15) the calculated receive parameter for the first user, so that an interference caused by transmissions from the transmission sections to the first user and the second user are reduced or eliminated. The allocation of users and the calculation of receive parameters for the users can be performed successively for a group of transmission sections, where the final transmit parameters are continuously updated and are finally determined when the allocation of the users in the group of sectors is completed.</p> |
