A vial with adjustable volume for a pomade comprising a first peripheral wall having top and bottom longitudinal ends which define respective top and bottom openings and inner and outer surfaces; the inner surfaces of the first peripheral wall being provided with at least one peripheral lip portion; a bottom portion to be slidably mounted to the first peripheral wall; the bottom portion including a bottom wall to close the bottom opening, a second peripheral wall extending from the bottom wall in a first direction and conforming to the first peripheral wall for snugly fitting therein, and a peripheral skirt extending from the second peripheral wall and having a tapered shape; the second peripheral wall including at least one peripheral groove portion for cooperating with the at least one peripheral lip portion in locking the bottom portion at a predetermined longitudinal position along the first peripheral wall and so as to define a volume of the vial; and a cap that conforms to the top longitudinal end of the first peripheral wall for selectively closing the top opening defined thereby.
