<p>PURPOSE: An LED backlight unit using a quantum dot is provided to increase brightness and color uniformity using a gap filler and titanium dioxide powder. CONSTITUTION: A quantum dot composite(120) transmits a part of light with a first wavelength. The quantum dot composite emits another part of the light with the first wavelength as light of second and third wavelengths. A first space or a second space is filled with gap fillers(140,142) wherein the first space is between a light emitting device(110) and the quantum dot composite and the second space is between the quantum dot composite and a light guide plate. The gap fillers match a refractive index.</p> |
