PURPOSE: A system and a method for acquiring initial synchronization using multiple threshold level are provided to perform synchronous acquisition according to the SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) and channel effect. CONSTITUTION: A level judging unit decides the level of the first correlative value based on a plurality of predetermined threshold levels. A synchronous acquisition condition setup unit(410) especially establishes the correlation condition and critical condition by a plurality of threshold levels. An acknowledge mode correlation value calculator(420) calculates the second correlative value between PN code and spread signal according to the correlation condition corresponding to the first correlative value. A synchronous motive acquisition part(430) obtains synchronization from a PN code which satisfies an threshold condition corresponding to a lever of the decided the first correlation value based on the second correlation value. |
