FIELD: electricity. ^ SUBSTANCE: aerodynamic damper of power transmission line wire oscillations comprises an oblong element fixed on a wire. The oblong element is made in the form of two half-terminals that embrace the wire and are connected by belts, there are nozzles rigidly fixed to the half-terminals in the form of hollow truncated cones arranged horizontally and installed perpendicularly to the wire symmetrically to each other, turned oppositely with larger and smaller bases relative to each other on the upper and lower half-terminals accordingly. To increase speed of air flow from a narrow part of the nozzle at the side of the smaller base there is an add-on piece in the form of a hollow truncated cone attached to the nozzle with the help of a connecting rim. ^ EFFECT: using the proposed aerodynamic damper makes it possible to reduce amplitude, frequency and period of wire oscillating process under action of wind load and thus to increase reliability of power transmission lines operation. ^ 3 cl, 3 dwg |
