FIELD: mining. ^ SUBSTANCE: mechanical caliper with manual drive consists of a tip that is hinged to levers which are connected to the slide and are in contact with well shaft wall; lower rod control metric metal measure; lower part of axial stock is connected to the tip by means to threaded connection; on axial stock there arranged is the slide and movable metal load freely moving along it; lock nut is connected to upper part of axial stock by means of threaded connection; upper rod control metric metal measure is connected to the lock nut by means of safety hooks. ^ EFFECT: improved measurement accuracy of the well diameter in wide range of temperatures and pressures; simpler and cheaper device and lower overall dimensions. ^ 6 dwg
