The rings may also be secured by inserting fillings, such as, for example, split rings, in the body of the cable. For actuating the device, the rings 3 may be engaged as shown by a recessed wheel 5, or by a recessed slider with handle or rack operation, or by a hand-wheel and helical cam groove mechanism. |
