<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct lateral band structures provided in each fixed section with excellent workability and structural rigidly so as to insulate and prevent displacement and breakage of a slope surface in a river revetment or on a road from continuously spreading to other parts, regarding a lateral band embedded mold block, a lateral band construction method using it, and a staircase construction method. <P>SOLUTION: A block body 1 formed by precast concrete includes: opposed sidewall parts 4,4 provided so as to be laid at an excavation part 3 along a slope surface gradient θ in each fixed section K in an extending direction X of a slope pavement part 2 of the river revetment or the road; openings 7 for placing ready-mixed concrete C provided at every predetermined interval in a longitudinal direction I on a top surface part 5 between the sidewall parts 4,4; a lining part 8 covering parts between the openings for placing the concrete; and a release bottom part 9.
