The invention relates to a mounting of a shaft in a housing, in particular of a steering column in a supporting tube of a motor vehicle, by means of two angular contact ball bearings (1) that are braced with respect to each other by means of a spring, the inner rings (4) of said angular contact ball bearings being guided on the shaft by means of supporting elements, wherein the supporting elements are supported on retaining elements fixed to the shaft. According to the invention, the spring comprises at least one spring tongue (6), which is integrally moulded on the inner ring (4) and/or outer ring (2) of at least one of the angular contact ball bearings (1).
