The snap hook (100) has a hook body (1) and a snapper (3), which is tilted around a tilt axis (5a) from a closing position against a spring force into an opening position. The tilt axis is provided at an end of a bracket (4a) of the hook body. The snapper has a long tilt arm (5) for closing of a hook opening (7) and a short lever arm (10), on which an actuator (12) is operated to open the snapper.
