[Class 133.] Electric accumulators are provided with carrying means comprising a horizontally disposed hoop or frame e engaging beneath lateral projections d on the article and having one or more pivotal handle members the spring legs c<2> of which are formed with inturned ends c<3> which pass through aligned apertures in the frame and either frictionally engage the walls of the accumulator or engage in apertures formed therein. The parts c<3> may, as shown, be provided with enlarged extremities c<4> affording a permanent connection of the handles. The frame may be provided with upwardly extending spring tongues e<2> engaging in recesses b<1> to hold the cover b in place, and depending spring strips may be provided to assist the frictional engagement of the handle ends. The grip portion g of the handle may carry an identification plate f covered by a celluloid &c. strip, and protective sleeves h of rubber &c. may be provided. |
