<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device for an internal combustion engine capable of preventing the occurrence of vapor and controlling reduction of a fuel injection amount, even if vapor has occurred in fuel in a port injector when an internal combustion engine is started. <P>SOLUTION: When the internal combustion engine is to be started, the start by the port injector is performed. In this case, a vapor amount predicted to occur in fuel in the port injector is estimated. If the vapor amount is estimated to be a predetermined value or more, assist injection by an in-cylinder injector is performed to supply fuel to an intake passage, so that pressure in the intake passage is increased.
