PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tissue having softness, smoothness, and moistness equal to or greater than that of conventional moisturized tissue, and also feeling less sticky and hard to tear during use.

SOLUTION: Two-ply chemical-coated tissue is configured in such a manner that chemical is applied onto the tissue so as to give a chemical content of 2.0-5.5 g/m2on both surfaces, the basis weight per layer of a sheet configuring the two-ply paper is 10-25 g/m2, the thickness of the two-ply paper is 100-140 μm, and the static friction coefficient of the surface is 0.50-0.65.
