<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal multiblade fan that has improved air flow characteristics by optimizing a shape of blades of an impeller of centrifugal multiblade fan. <P>SOLUTION: In the centrifugal multiblade fan, an impeller in which many blades are disposed in a circumferential direction between a disk-shaped main plate and an annular shroud is housed within a casing which forms a spiral flow passage, air sucked from an inlet port is ejected toward radially outward of the impeller by a centrifugal action along with rotation of the impeller, and the air is ejected from a discharge port of the casing. An inlet angle (α) of a blade 6 of the impeller is in a range from 70° to 90°, and an outlet angle (β) of the blade 6 is in a range from 40° to 70°, and an inner sidewall of the discharge port of the casing is formed to coincide with a tangential direction of outer circumference of the impeller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
