<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in a light scanning device used in an image forming apparatus, when a mirror of the light scanning device is vibrated by vibration of a movable section in the image forming apparatus, density irregularity (Banding) in a sub-scanning direction is generated so that image quality is deteriorated, and thereby to suppress vibration of the mirror in the light scanning device to achieve an image having high quality. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus includes the mirror for reflecting light emitted from a light source and support structures which are formed of support sections for supporting the mirror and respectively provided at both ends of the image forming apparatus. Seat faces of the mirror support sections are placed so as to be not perpendicular to the mirror in a longitudinal direction but oblique thereto, so that the attachment position of the mirror can be changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
