<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential amplification circuit for controlling voltage of a series regulator capable of improving transient response characteristics by changing the current flown to a constant current source according to fluctuation of a load. <P>SOLUTION: A differential amplification circuit includes a differential input stage having a first constant current source (Mp0) and an output stage which contains an output MOS transistor (Mn3) which receives a potential of an output node of the differential input stage by a gate terminal and a second constant curent source (Mp3) connected in series to the output MOS transistor (Mn3). The differential amplification circuit is provided with a constant current MOS transistor provided parallel to the first constant current source or the second constant current source, and a boost current control MOS transistor in which a potential of the connection node between the output MOS transistor and the second constant current source is applied to a gate terminal. When input voltage of one of the differential input stages changes, the boost current control MOS transistor is turned on so that the current of the constant current MOS transistor is added to the first constant current source or the second constant current source, thereby causing the current to flow through the differential input stage or the output stage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
