<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile system which mitigates complication in a request task on a collection device side and reduces communication costs. <P>SOLUTION: In communication between a terminal station and a center station, count information on the terminal station is transmitted to the center station with facsimile information, and the center station receives and stores the count information obtained by communication with each terminal station. The count information is transmitted to the collection device every predetermined period at one transmission.
