Provided is a method for the production of synthetic fuel from Fischer-Tropsch synthetic crude oil obtained by Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, which includes (a) a process in which synthetic crude oil obtained by Fischer-Tropsch synthesis is fractionally distilled in a refining distillation column into at least two fractions, namely an intermediate fraction which includes the components in the boiling point range corresponding to diesel fuel oil and a wax fraction which includes the wax fraction that is heavier than said intermediate fraction, (b) a process in which the magnetic particles which are included in the wax fraction obtained in process(a) are separated and removed at a treatment temperature from 100 to 450°C by means of a high-gradient magnetic separator, and (c) a process in which the wax fraction from which the magnetic particles have been removed obtained in process (b) is subjected to hydrogenation cracking.
