<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device which can control cost increase and further keeps a high noise reduction level using structure capable of cooling down a light source in a case by efficient use of cooling fluid. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device is provided with the case 1, the light source 6, a pair of heat sinks 4, 5, a cooling fan 8 arranged in the case and located opposite to the heat sinks, a water inlet 12 formed on a right side wall 1r located in a front position of the heat sink 4 at wall portions constituting the case 1, and a cooling fluid exhaust port 10 formed in a position opposite to the cooling fan 8 in the wall portions constituting the case 1.
