<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical interconnection module, when an optical element and signal wires are highly densely mounted on a substrate, reducing an influence of cross talk noise caused by interference of light and electricity between transmission and reception, and to provide an optical and electrical circuit board using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This optical interconnection module includes: a substrate 10 partially formed into a step; a light-emitting element array 11 installed on a step upper section; a light-receiving array 12 installed on a step lower section; a drive circuit 13 connected to the light-emitting element array; a signal amplification circuit 14 connected to the light-receiving array; an optical waveguide having a plurality of cores 16 wired along a substrate surface; and an optical path converting section converting the optical path of light emitted from the light-emitting element array to cause the light to enter the core 16 and cause the light going out of the core 16 to enter the light-receiving array. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
