<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a copper alloy that has a high electric conductivity and an excellent stress relaxation resistance, and also has a high strength and an excellent bending workability, and to provide a copper alloy. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a copper alloy includes: a casting step of casting a copper alloy material, wherein Cu includes 0.1-0.4 mass% Cr, 0.01-0.2 mass% Zr, 0.01-0.3 mass% Sn, 0.05-0.4 mass% Mg, and an inevitable impurities; a hot rolling step of applying a hot rolling processing to the copper alloy material; a cooling step of, after heat treating of the hot rolling processed copper alloy material at 700-900°C, quenching the copper alloy material; a first cold rolling step of applying a cold rolling processing to the copper alloy material, which has been subjected to the cooling step, at the processing degree of 80% or more; an aging treatment step of applying an aging treatment to the copper alloy material, to which the first cold rolling processing has been applied, at 390-450°C; a second cold rolling step of applying a cold rolling processing to the copper alloy material, to which the aging treatment has been applied, at the processing degree of 20-40%; and an annealing step of applying an annealing to the copper alloy material, which has been subjected to the second cold rolling step, at 400-600°C so as to manufacture the copper alloy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
