<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-based coating composition having excellent storage quality which makes a polyester resin a binder, and can form a coating film excellent in physical properties. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester resin (A) of the number-average molecular weight of 1000-20,000, which has a sulfonic acid group being an alkali metal salt in a molecule, is used as a binder, and thereby the water-based coating composition which excels in water dispersibility, has excellent storage quality, excels in coating film strength or coating film water resistance, and can form a coating film which can be utilized as an independent coating film can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
