<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that can properly detect the temperature of a side surface (a surface facing an adjacent battery cell) of a battery cell constituting a battery assembly. <P>SOLUTION: A temperature detection member 3 is mounted in the battery assembly with a sensor holding section 11 for housing a temperature sensor element 2 positioned in a gap V between an object battery cell 9, the temperature of which is detected, and the adjacent battery cell 9 which is adjacent to the object battery cell 9. In the state of the sensor holding section 11 positioned in the gap V, an overhanging portion 12 engages the upper surface(s) of such battery cell(s) 9 to fixedly hang the sensor holding section 11 on the battery cell(s) 9. A biasing projection 13 elastically biases the sensor holding section 11 against the side surface of the object battery cell 9 while abutting on the adjacent battery cell 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
