<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator for a rotary electric machine that facilitates positioning of a stator winding on a radially inner side with ease without increasing the number of components, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A stator 10 includes: an annular stator core 30 that has a plurality of slots 31 arranged along a circumferential direction; and a stator winding 40 that is wound around the stator core 30 with a plurality of conductor segments 41 arranged radially in each of the slots 31. The stator core 30 has a plurality of teeth 33 protruding radially inwardly, each of which has side surfaces 33a on its both circumferential sides by which the slots 31 are defined. Each of the side surfaces 33a of the teeth 33 is provided with a positioning inclined surface 34 that is inclined, in such a manner that circumferential width W of each of the slots 31 gets smaller from a radially outer side toward a radially inner side, so as to position a first conductor segment 41a that is arranged on an radially innermost side of each of the slots 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
