<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability of updating firmware of a product such as a terminal device. <P>SOLUTION: A data writing device wirelessly supplies power to a terminal device 10 comprising a wireless power receiving part to start-up the terminal device 10 supplied with power, and wirelessly transmits data for writing firmware, with a predetermined wireless communication function, to the terminal device 10 started-up by the wireless power supply processing. The terminal device 10 writes the wirelessly transmitted data for writing firmware into a storage part in the terminal device 10. When completing the writing, the terminal device 10 informs the data writing device of the completion of writing.
