<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid occurrence of malfunction by continuously feeding a holding current to a switching element of a phase-controlled light controller in a power supply for lighting which constitutes a lighting system comprising a phase-controlled dimmer. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply for lighting comprises: a constant current circuit 32 which feeds a constant current corresponding to a holding current of a switching element of a phase-controlled dimmer; energy storage means C1 capable of storing a current fed by the constant current circuit as electric energy; a DC voltage conversion circuit 31; and current switching means 33 for interrupting the constant current flowing to the constant current circuit when a current flowing in from a voltage input terminal decreases to or below a predetermined value or during an off period of a switching element when the DC voltage conversion circuit is constituted by a switching power supply, and feeding a holding current from the voltage input terminal toward a ground point. While the constant current of the constant current circuit is interrupted, electric energy stored in the energy storage means is discharged, and a current is fed toward the output terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
