<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective sheet for solar cell exhibiting excellent transmissivity, barrier properties, light fastness and adhesion. <P>SOLUTION: In the protective sheet for solar cell, a first inorganic layer, an organic layer, and a second inorganic layer are formed on a plastic film, where the first and second inorganic layers have compositions different from each other. The first inorganic layer contains an oxide or a nitride that contains at least one kind of cerium, zinc, titanium, iron, zirconium, tungsten and strontium.
