METHOD FOR INFILLING FIRE PROTECTION MATERIAL INTO SASH FRAME AND FIRE PROTECTION MATERIAL INFILLING DEVICE USED FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve fire protection performance of a sash member by infilling a fire protection material in a hollow section in the sash member as uniformly as possible with high working efficiency and, particularly, to substantially increase a filling rate of the fire protection material in the hollow section of an existing sash frame.

SOLUTION: An infill opening 19 which communicates with a hollow section 11 of a sash member 11 is arranged at an inner peripheral surface of one of edge sections in a horizontal direction of an upper frame 4A of a sash frame 4 or at the inner peripheral surface of an upper edge section of a side frame. A first cylindrical infill tool 21 is inserted into the infill opening 19 so that a granulous or powdery thermosetting fire proof material 16 is pressed into the hollow section 11 through the first cylindrical infill tool 21. Also, an exhaust opening 20 which enables the hollow section 11 to communicate with the outside is arranged at the inner peripheral surface of the edge section of a lower frame 4B positioned diagonally opposite from the infill opening 19 or at the inner peripheral surface of a lower edge section of the side frame 4C. A second cylindrical infill tool 25 is inserted into the exhaust opening 20 so that the air in the hollow section 11 can be exhausted outdoors therethrough.
