<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide matting resin particles for coatings, capable of imparting excellent mat feeling, extensibility and contamination resistance to coating films and excellent in blocking resistance, and to provide a mat coating composition capable of forming coating films having excellent mat feeling, extensibility and contamination resistance. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a matting resin particle for coatings, which is a core-shell type and comprises a core part provided by polymerizing a core material containing a monomer component (c) and a shell part provided by polymerizing a shell material containing a monomer component (s), wherein the monomer component (c) comprises one or more monomers which give a polymer obtained by polymerizing the monomer component (c) and having ≤20°C glass transition temperature, the monomer component (s) comprises one or more monomers which give a polymer obtained by polymerizing the monomer component (s) and having ≥70°C glass transition temperature, and the mass ratio of the core material and the shell material is (core material)/(shell material)=30/70-80/20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
