PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems in which: when the contact pressure of a cleaning blade onto a photoreceptor increases, sticking and slipping repeated between the blade and the outermost surface of the photoreceptor, or the so-called stick/slip phenomenon, brings about chattering to increase the risk of abnormal sounds or to cause the toner to pass through during slipping to induce faulty cleaning, which can generate streaky image defects; in addition, the so-called filming phenomenon, in which pressure of the blade can cause toner components to stick to the surface of the photoreceptor so as to be difficult to remove, can occur to increase the risk of continuous image defects; further, image defects due to the occurrence of circumferential flaws caused by the rotation of the photoreceptor with the toner strongly pressed onto the photoreceptor are likely to occur.
SOLUTION: There is provided an electrophotographic photoreceptor which contains a specific charge transport material and a specific binder resin in its outermost surface layer.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
