The invention relates to a device for cleaning a mat consisting of filter material by means of liquid. In order for the cleaning to take place quickly and in a simple manner, according to the invention the device comprises a rectangular receiving part into which the mat to be cleaned can be inserted, folded into folds, the receiving part comprises adjusting means by which the folds of the mat can be tensioned and held spaced apart from one another, the tensioned filter unit comprising the receiving part and the adjusting means is introduced into a filter bag, and jets of liquid can be delivered to the filter bag and clean the outer surfaces and the inner surfaces of the tensioned filter unit. |
