<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that handling for efficiently implementing processes of an image processing apparatus without limiting execution of other image processes by a UI process may be required. <P>SOLUTION: An MFP 100 switches between a standard operation screen and a simplified operation screen in accordance with a processing situation of a control section 30 including a CPU 31 and displays any one of the screens on a display section 6 (S103). Specifically, in the case where it is determined that an input operation by a user is received (S102: Yes), the CPU 31 determines whether or not the control section 30 is in a Busy state (S103). In the case where Yes is determined in S103, the CPU 31 displays the simplified operation screen on the display section 6 and shifts to a single touch mode in which only a single touch is accepted (S104).
