<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal system for electronic musical instruments that gives a good feel of pedaling and improves a correspondence between a half pedal region and a variation in counterforce. <P>SOLUTION: A damper pedal 1 comprises a spring member 5 and a dome-shaped rubber member 9 that joins the damper pedal 1 on the way of a stroke to start displacement and generates a counterforce having a characteristic that the variation rate of the counterforce decreases on the way of an increase of this displacement. First and second output values of a variable resistor 10 are extracted by first and second switches 111 and 112 at the timing of detection of first and second displaced states of the dome-shaped rubber member 9. A conversion characteristic setting unit 115 sets the first and second output values so as to be values indicating first and second positions relative to a half pedal region and sets a conversion characteristic to convert the output value of the variable resistor 10 into a pedaling value P. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
