<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve precise water-level detection and operation noise suppression while suppressing a cost increase regarding a draining device installed in the indoor unit of an air conditioner. <P>SOLUTION: In a draining device 1D installed in the indoor unit of an air conditioner, a signal potential based on an FG (frequency generator) pulse output from a Hall IC 45 provided in the motor 4M of a draining pump 4 is given to a signal circuit Ls connected with a water-level detection electrode Ps. The water-level detection electrode Ps is disposed so as not to touch the water when the water in a drain pan 3 does not reach a predetermined water level and to touch the water when the water reaches the predetermined water level. On the other hand, a grounding side electric path Lg for a signal potential is provided with a grounding side electrode Pg that is electrically connected with the water-level detection electrode Ps via water when the water-level detection electrode Ps touches the water.
